Summer is here, and along with sun and vacations, comes time to relax and reflect.... and celebrate!
June was a milestone month for BOLD - fourteen new members joined! And we're going to celebrate with some summer fun and networking opportunities.
First, our Mentorship Committee is accepting applications for mentors and mentees in July. If you are looking to build your skills, develop your career and/or give back to your profession, we welcome your participation. We have received very positive reviews from participants over the last two years - Click here to find out more and/or enroll in the program.
On July 30th, BOLD and the local Biotech HR Network (BHRN) will be hosting our annual HR Mixer at the San Mateo Library from 5:30 – 7:30pm. This informal social event will include food, fun and more networking. Members will receive an invite and additional information within the next two weeks.
We are featuring our third workshop of the year on Employee Engagement coming up August 26th. This open event held at Genentech will include experts and discussions on this hot topic. What do we mean by Employee Engagement? Stay tuned - we’ll be sharing more over the next month.
And if you’re looking for a development opportunity outside of your company to grow yourself, be part of a team, and develop skills in the area of OD/Learning, volunteer with BOLD; We are an active group of professionals that are passionate about developing a learning community, and this month we have a few positions open.
