Dave Cragg joined Cytokinetics in February 2005 as Vice President, Human Resources and was promoted to Sr. Vice President in July 2009. Prior to joining Cytokinetics, from October 2000 until January 2005, Dave managed his own human resources consulting practice assisting organizations with building human resources infrastructure. From March 2000 until September 2000, he was Vice President, Human Resources for eGroups Inc., until it was acquired by Yahoo! Inc. From 1996 to 2000 Dave was a Principal Human Resources Consultant at Genentech Inc. supporting Research and Development. From 1992-1995 he was Senior Director, Human Resources at Software Publishing Corporation. From 1989 to 1992 he was Vice President, Human Resources & Administration at West Marine, Inc. From 1986 to 1989 he was Senior Manager Human Resources at LSI Logic Corporation. Prior to 1986, Dave held various management positions in human resources. Dave holds a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Heather McGaughey - Vice President, Human Resources, Jazz Pharmaceuticals
Heather McGaughey joined Jazz Pharmaceuticals as VP, Human Resources in 2008. In 2007 she served as Managing Director, Private Equity Services at Craford Benefit Consultants, a human capital and benefit consulting firm, and from 1998 - 2006 she served at CNET Networks, Inc., a global interactive media company, most recently as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Previously, she held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Human Resources field at Time Inc. in New York and California, and at Manufacturers Hanover Trust, now a part of JP Morgan Chase. Heather received her B.A. from Smith College. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Zeum, San Francisco’s Children’s museum, and on the board of Live Oak School in San Francisco.
Stacy Markel – Vice President, Human Resources and Professional Development, Actelion Pharmaceuticals
Stacy Markel is Vice President, Human Resources at Actelion Pharmaceuticals US, Inc, a rapidly growing Swiss biopharmaceutical company. Stacy leads human resources, talent management and facilities at the Company. She joined Actelion in 2002 and has been instrumental in creating and leading the sales training function, executing extensive leadership development initiatives as well as positioning Human Resources at Actelion as a key business partner in driving the leadership vision. Stacy sits on the Executive Leadership Team and Global HR Strategy Team. Stacy joined Actelion after a 10 year sales career at Roche Pharmaceuticals.
