BHRN and BOLD are both membership based peer networking groups for active Human Resource professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. BHRN encompasses general HR role/responsibilities, while BOLD includes an Organization Development/Talent Management focus.
BHRN member communications and resources are coordinated through an online yahoo groups forum and monthly meetings. BHRN meetings are hosted by members at leading Bay Area biotech companies.
For these purposes, "Biotech" refers to the following types of companies: Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, CRO's, and Medical Instrumentation.

2. Currently working with (or recently having worked with) at least one
biotech company, AND
3. Overall HR experience of at least 7 years
C. CONTRACT RECRUITER:
Transitioned from Category A and still primarily focused in biotech
recruiting, OR
Primarily focused in biotech recruiting with at least 2 years in the industry.
**Recruiting Agencies, Search Firms and Vendors are NOT eligible for membership.**
All members are required to follow standards of membership, and attend at least 3 meetings per calendar year.
